Imperial College Nigerian Society Annual Symposium
The Dickens Sanomi Foundation to Speak at the 3rd Imperial College Nigerian Symposium
The 3rd annual symposium held by Imperial College London's Nigerian Society is scheduled for the 28th of November 2014.
A variety of events have been planned to benefit the students of Imperial College London as well as attendees from across the United Kingdom.
These events will kick-off at the Imperial College with a networking session and careers fair involving companies from Nigeria, and includes Q&A sessions, panel discussions and talks from several prestigious and distinguished guest speakers from around the world. Such speakers include the Minister of Power for Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The Dickens Sanomi Foundation will be represented at the symposium by the Executive Director, who will be giving a talk about the activities of the foundation.
The Imperial College Nigerian Society is a member of the Overseas Student Committee (OSC) of the Imperial College Student Union. It aims to serve as a meeting point for Nigerians and students of Nigerian origin studying at Imperial College London.
The society aims to empower her members towards giving back to Nigeria intellectually, economically and especially in proving effective leadership in all facets of human endeavour.
The evening concludes with a networking dinner, raising funds for the society. The Dickens Sanomi Foundation is a platinum sponsor for the dinner.
