Abuja for Children and Strauss School conclude 2012 with a Grand Finale
The young people of the Abuja for Children project brought 2012 to a close in triumphant style following a sell out performance of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, which took place on 14th December at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.
Featured in the performance were pupils of the Giwa Government Secondary School, many of whom would not have the opportunity to experience music and drama first hand if it were not for their involvement in the production.
The Abuja for Children project is the charitable arm of the Strauss School of Music and Drama. It gives children from less privileged backgrounds access to the arts, by providing them with free tuition in music, dance and drama. This work is made possible thanks to the support of various sponsors, including the Dickens Sanomi Foundation.
