Working with Autism
“Education is the key to the bright future of Nigeria. Supporting the education of Nigeria’s youth is of enormous national importance.”

“The Autism ABA workshop was truely amazing and I hope it will be a continue partnership, aggressive means of reaching out to special needs persons. We are sure connected to someone special. The general experience we had with the facilitators will ever live indelible mark in our memories. We thank you all.

“As a parent of a child with Autism, attending the workshop for the 2 days did actually gave me some hope. As I expressed earlier the workshop package was very revealing and the intended approach on the management of the spectrum more comprehensive than I have ever got here in Nigeria.
I have approached a good number of homes managing Autism here but we are just trying to make do with what we are being given.
My most specific area of interest is on Medication. This was however briefly touched during the workshop with no detailed insight of what the area is all about. This is an area I will like to know more details about. I had also mentioned that parents should also be carried along with the planned capacity building of the existing institutions managing autism here. I am sure most parents will not shy away paying for the services as long as there will be result.
“Although I did not attend the first day of the workshop, I am happy I was able to experience and participate in the rest of the days. This is a very commendable program and I hope there will be more effort to bring awareness to the government, schools and even some parents who do not understand what they are dealing with. We hope that we will continue to be carried along with future workshops.
